Worn out

Cade turned 7 months old the other day, what a great experience this has been. . .having a son. He's growing so fast, it's hard to remember week to week what he's doing and for he looked just a few months ago. Fortunately, we're taking a lot of video to keep up with it all.

Here I have the first video I put together of his birthday- the day of his birth.

In this next one, we had our friend Anne come over and take some pictures of Cade and our Godson Tristan. Cade's only about 2 weeks old here. It's amazing now to see him so tiny!

Next, we have a video of Cade leading up to his first month anniversary.

We thought this was a big deal when it happened, but his first laugh was pretty amazing. As it turns out, he's a very happy baby who loves to smile and laugh all the time!

There are several other videos on the Youtube channel, but I'll just skip ahead to Christmas 2009. It's a bit longer than most of the other videos, but I wanted to take full advantage of the 10 minute time limit set on uploading videos.

We had my brother Adam in town last night, and it was a rare treat to have everyone together and not have to worry about the stress of Christmas and the Holiday's at the same time. Everyone got along really well, and it was cool to see the three grand-kids all hanging out together and enjoying each others company.

Things are beginning to solidify and we may have some answers very soon. I know you don't know what I'm talking about, but you will soon. Justice will be served.

Demon Love?

It started a long time ago, but in my lifetime, it got popular with Anne Rice and the Vampire Chronicles. More recently, books, movies, and TV shows like Buffy, Twilight, and now, a new show called "The Vampire Diaries", and True Blood all seem to be flooding the entertainment market with images and advocacy for vampire and demon love. What message are they trying to spread here? Does it tell us that it's ok to love evil, or does it tell is that good can be found in the darkest soul? Considering the demographic that these types of shows are targeting, primarily teens, it's definitely a dangerous message to be hazy about.

We're teaching our kids that it's ok to love and embrace demons. We're showing them how to kill each other in a virtual video game world, so that they'll be better soldiers when they grow up. I'm not sure what the end goal to the message is, but I don't like where this is going.

The heat from Hell!

It's been hot this summer. Really, really hot. I've lived in Austin for 30 something years, and I've never experienced anything like this. It hurts just to go outside, as if you're sticking your head into an oven. We've broken 100 degrees on more that 20 days, many of those days have hit 104. Usually, I've been able to beat the heat with trips to Lake Travis or go tubing down the Comal River in New Braunfels, but not this year. Lake Travis has closed all but one boat ramp, but that last one could close, too.

"On Wednesday, the water level at Lake Travis hit 640 feet. When the lake level drops below 640 feet the boat ramp is not considered usable. Already 11 of the 12 Lake Travis public boat ramps have become unusable because the water level sits below the concrete ramps."

Many of the restaurants and bars on the lake have closed as well.

Now, they've opened a dam at the Comal, but it doesn't matter how any of this water is, because my wife is 9 months pregnant, she's not getting out in this heat, and I'm not about to leave her behind.

Southeastern Texas has been classified as an exceptional drought area by the United States Drought Monitor. We're barely through half the summer, I have a feeling it's only going to get worse over the next few months.

Be like Fonzie folks! Stay cool!

Huge blob of Arctic goo floats past Slope communities

Huge blob of Arctic goo floats past Slope communities

IT'S NOT OIL: No one in the area can recall seeing anything like it before.

By DON HUNTER

Something big and strange is floating through the Chukchi Sea between Wainwright and Barrow.

Hunters from Wainwright first started noticing the stuff sometime probably early last week. It's thick and dark and "gooey" and is drifting for miles in the cold Arctic waters, according to Gordon Brower with the North Slope Borough's Planning and Community Services Department.

Brower and other borough officials, joined by the U.S. Coast Guard, flew out to Wainwright to investigate. The agencies found "globs" of the stuff floating miles offshore Friday and collected samples for testing.

Later, Brower said, the North Slope team in a borough helicopter spotted a long strand of the stuff and followed it for about 15 miles, shooting video from the air.

The next day the floating substance arrived offshore from Barrow, about 90 miles east of Wainwright, and borough officials went out in boats, collected more samples and sent them off for testing too.

Nobody knows for sure what the gunk is, but Petty Officer 1st Class Terry Hasenauer says the Coast Guard is sure what it is not.

"It's certainly biological," Hasenauer said. "It's definitely not an oil product of any kind. It has no characteristics of an oil, or a hazardous substance, for that matter.

"It's definitely, by the smell and the makeup of it, it's some sort of naturally occurring organic or otherwise marine organism."

Something else: No one in Barrow or Wainwright can remember seeing anything like this before, Brower said.

"That's one of the reasons we went out, because in recent history I don't think we've seen anything like this," he said. "Maybe inside lakes or in stagnant water or something, but not (in the ocean) that we could recall ...

"If it was something we'd seen before, we'd be able to say something about it. But we haven't ...which prompted concerns from the local hunters and whaling captains."

The stuff is "gooey" and looks dark against the bright white ice floating in the Arctic Ocean, Brower said.

"It's pitch black when it hits ice and it kind of discolors the ice and hangs off of it," Brower said. He saw some jellyfish tangled up in the stuff, and someone turned in what was left of a dead goose -- just bones and feathers -- to the borough's wildlife department.

"It kind of has an odor; I can't describe it," he said.

Hasenauer said he hasn't heard any reports of waterfowl or marine animals turning up.

Brower said it wouldn't necessarily surprise him if the substance turns out to be some sort of naturally occurring phenomenon, but the borough is waiting until it gets the analysis back from the samples before officials say anything more than they're not sure what it is.

"From the air it looks brownish with some sheen, but when you get close and put it up on the ice and in the bucket, it's kind of blackish stuff ... (and) has hairy strands on it."

Hasenauer said the Coast Guard's samples are being analyzed in Anchorage. Results may be back sometime next week, he said.

The two Coast Guard experts sent up to overfly the area with the borough said they saw nothing that resembled an oil slick, Hasenauer said.

"We brought back one sample of what they believe to be an algae," he said, and a big algae bloom is one possibility.

"It's textbook for us to consider algae because of all the false reports of oil spills we've had in the past. It's one of the things that typically comes up" when a report turns out not to be an oil spill after all.

But, he said, "there's all types of natural phenomena that it could be."

Meanwhile, the brownish-blackish gunk is drifting along the coast to the northeast, Brower said.

"This stuff is moving with the current," he said. "It's now on beyond Barrow and probably going north at this point. And people are still encountering it out here off Barrow."

For the most part, the mystery substance seems to have stayed away from shore.

"We did get some residents saying it was being pushed against the shoreline by ice in some areas," Brower said, "but then we get another east wind and it gets pushed back out there."

Obama Science Czars Plan To Sterilize Population Through Water Supply Already Happening

Shocking proposals to mass sterilize the population by artificially medicating municipal water supplies, which were outlined by President Obama’s top science czar in his 1977 book Ecoscience, are already in effect as global sperm counts drop and gender-bending chemicals pollute our rivers and lakes.

As we highlighted on Saturday, alongside John P. Holdren’s advocacy for a global planetary regime to enforce forced abortion, government `seizure of children born out of wedlock, and mandatory bodily implants designed to prevent pregnancy, Obama’s top advisor also called for,”Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods.”

Holdren added that the sterilant must meet stiff requirements in that it must only affect humans and not livestock.

“It must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock,” wrote Holdren with co-authors Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich.

Holdren notes that the proposal to forcibly mass sterilize the public against their will “seems to horrify people” and yet it doesn’t seem to bother him too much, amidst the myriad of other totalitarian Dr. Strangelove style ideas that are put forward in the book as a way to carry out an aggressive agenda of population reduction.

Global sperm counts have dropped by a third since 1989 and by half in the past 50 years. The rate of decline is only accelerating as more and more couples find it harder to have children. In studies of white European men, the rate of decline is as much as 50 per cent in the last 30 years. In Italy, this equates to a native population reduction of 22 per cent by 2050. Population reduction is already occurring amongst native residents in many areas of Europe and America.

Everything from cellphone signals, to eating soy products, to female hormones entering the water supply from HRT products has been blamed. There’s no doubt that environmental pollution from industry and pharmaceutical products has contributed, but new research has uncovered that additional chemicals known as Antiandrogens are now finding their way into the water supply.

“The University of Exeter is now working with chemists at the University of Sussex to establish exactly what the chemicals in question are, and hence to understand how they are being released into waste water,” states the study.

Antiandrogens are capable of preventing or inhibiting the biologic effects of androgens, male sex hormones, on normally responsive tissues in the body. Antiandrogens are given to transsexual men who want to become women and they are also given to sex offenders released from prison to reduce their sexual libido. These substances have the effect of counteracting masculinisation and effectively diminishing normal male biological characteristics associated with the release of testosterone.

Antiandrogens used in pesticides sprayed on our food have also been identified as “endocrine disruptors” that have been “demonstrated to induce demasculinization in rats.”

These newly discovered poisons, combined with contraceptive pills and HRT have literally had the effect of gender-bending no less than a third of male fish in all British rivers, which causes them to produce eggs and make them infertile. Dozens of species besides fish, such as polar bears, bald eagles, otters and whales have also been affected and the problem is global.

In waterways that are located close to sewage treatment facilities, a staggering 80 per cent of male fish were found to have female characteristics as a result of such chemicals.

It is also feared that bird populations could be devastated in the long run from chemicals being passed from infected fish when birds eat the fish. Veteran fishermen are already noticing a severe decline in fish populations across the country.

This is what comes out of our taps, not to even mention the scores of other dangerous compounds and chemicals that are in our water supply, we are drinking a poison that makes animals and fish infertile. Human sperm counts are also dropping on a consistent basis and the connection is clear – chemicals that make us infertile are already in the water supply, just as Holdren and other top eugenicists called for more than 30 years ago.

“There is certainly the potential for it to have an effect in humans – and possibly a marked effect,” said Professor Charles Tyler of Exeter University, one of the country’s leading authorities on the effects of oestrogen.

It is therefore tragically ironic that the filters needed to combat this very real and very dangerous threat to our environment and to both animals and humans are being prevented from being installed at sewage treatment facilities because of the “carbon footprint” they would create and fears that they would add to global warming (which is coincidentally the latest veil behind which Holdren camouflages his totalitarian eugenicist agenda). This is another example of how the manufactured farce that is man-made climate change is actually harming the environment by blocking real environmental solutions.

Since industrial-sized filters are needed at the source to remove these poisons, it is certainly not safe to assume that standard water filters would be able to remove them at home.

The population of the world is under sustained biological assault and the vast majority of people have no idea that it is happening. This goes above and beyond any debate about whether there are too many people on the planet. This shatters any acceptable notion of human rights as outlined in the Nuremberg code, which clearly states that, “The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential,” in any form of human experimentation, and yet the population is being mass medicated and mass sterilized not only against its will but completely in the dark.

We are being biologically attacked by hardcore totalitarian eugenicists hell-bent on forcibly reducing the global population who have publicly announced their plans for an 80 per cent plus population reduction program. The legacy of these megalomaniacs is born out of class racism, fascist thinking and a bloodlust to dominate and enslave the planet – they couldn’t give a shit about the environment, this is all about eliminating the “useless eaters,” as they see us.

They have openly outlined their plans to commit mass genocide and we are now seeing the first wave of that attack via the poisons in our water that are making us infertile.

Obama Regulatory Reform Plan Officially Establishes Banking Dictatorship

Obama Regulatory Reform Plan Officially Establishes Banking Dictatorship In United States

President Obama’s plan to give the privately-owned and unaccountable Federal Reserve complete regulatory oversight across the entire U.S. economy, which is likely to be enacted before the end of the year, will officially herald the beginning of a new form of government in the United States - an ultra-powerful banking dictatorship controlled by a small gaggle of shadowy and corrupt elitists.

The new rules would see the Fed given the authority to “regulate” any company whose activity it believes could threaten the economy and the markets.

This goes a step further than the centrally planned economies of the Soviet Union or Communist China, in that the Federal Reserve is not even accountable to the U.S. government, it is a private entity that according to former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan, is accountable to nobody but the banking families that own it.

Obama’s regulatory “reform” plan is nothing less than a green light for the complete and total takeover of the United States by a private banking cartel that will usurp the power of existing regulatory bodies, who are now being blamed for the financial crisis in order that their status can be abolished and their roles handed over to the all-powerful Fed.

According to an Associated Press report today, Democratic leaders have committed to enacting the plan before the end of the year and Republicans in both the House and Senate have indicated that they won’t stand in the way of the overhaul.

“The final plan….is expected to sidestep most jurisdictional disputes and simply impose across the board standards to be applied by all financial regulators, according to administration and industry sources, ” reports the Washington Times.

In other words, the Fed, which is already totally unaccountable to Congress, is to be placed in complete control of the entirety of the U.S. financial system, to do as it wishes without repercussion.

As the LA Times reports, the government, in conjunction with the private Federal Reserve, would effectively have the clout to simply seize and take over any company it desires.

In order to appease those opposed to the plan, such as Sen. Christopher J. Dodd, chairman of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, the Obama administration has agreed to create a “watchdog” council of regulators to “advise the Fed”.

However, as former chairman Alan Greenspan has most recently pointed out, given that the Fed is an independent entity, and therefore accountable to no one, it will have the power to simply reject and overrule any advice it is offered.

Pointing out the flagrant conflict of interest in empowering the Federal Reserve to essentially regulate itself, Professor of public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin Robert Auerbach writes, “The Federal Reserve has massive conflicts of interest that make it ill suited for its present regulatory functions and certainly for an expanded regulatory reach. The officials leading the Fed today preside over an organization that is run in substantial part by the bankers they regulate. Bank regulation begins at its 12 district Federal Reserve Banks, each governed by a nine-member board of directors, two-thirds of whom are elected by the bankers in the district.”

As economic author Nomi Prins highlights, Obama’s plan does nothing whatsoever to fix the excesses of financial institutions blamed for the financial collapse, it only ensures their continued operation and an expansion of the practices that contributed to the economic crisis in the first place.

“The ’sweeping overhaul’ of the financial system detailed by Geithner on behalf of the Obama administration does not overhaul the system at all,” writes Prins, “giving the Fed a bigger role, creating a ‘council of regulators’ to oversee the existing oversight bodies and allowing the biggest Wall Street players to maintain their status, leaves the system intact.”

“The Federal Reserve is not a fully public entity. It has amassed a set of $7.87 trillion worth of facilities and other entities through which it has lavished cheap loans in return for questionable collateral from the banking system. It has kept the true nature of these transactions a secret despite numerous FOIA requests. And, it has actively promoted the creation of bigger institutions in a chaotic environment, rather than putting the brakes on the creation of these giants,” concludes Prins.

Proof that the agenda of implementing overt financial dictatorship is being carefully coordinated can be seen in the fact that an almost identical scheme is also being set up in the United Kingdom, where “The governor of the Bank of England has called for greater powers to allow it to fulfil its new role of promoting financial stability,” according to a BBC report.

Just as in the U.S., King is calling for traditional independent regulatory bodies to be all but abolished and replaced by the Bank of England itself, which just like the Federal Reserve is a private outfit with no accountability to the government whatsoever.

The mainstream media, for the most part, has reported the oversight plan as a much needed regulatory crackdown on those responsible for the financial crisis. However, the details of the plan constitute almost exactly what lobbyists for leading bankers have been pushing for over the past few weeks.

“All derivatives contracts will be subject to regulation and all derivatives dealers subject to supervision,” Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner said at a Time Warner Economic Summit in New York on Monday, also noting “When you have too many people involved, there’s an accountability problem.”

As we reported earlier this month, heads of nine of the biggest banks in the derivatives market, including JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Bank of America, secretly lobbied to keep derivatives under Federal Reserve “oversight” and away from real scrutiny.

As reported by The New York Times, they all met secretly to discuss how to use the lax regulation and institutional secrecy of the NY Fed to shield their credit-default swaps business from prying eyes and attempts at regulation.

The banks formed a lobby– the CDS Dealers Consortium– only weeks after accepting TARP funds in October 2008 to protect its interests. Heading this effort was Edward Rosen, who previously helped fend off derivatives regulation. Rosen wrote and circulated a “confidential memo” to the Treasury Department and leaders on Capital Hill, making their agenda clear, the Times reported.

Rosen and his backers propose that derivatives be “traded in privately managed clearinghouses, with less disclosure,” according to the Times. The clearinghouse of choice for the big banks in Rosen’s CDS Consortium is ICE U.S. Trust, which is in turned regulated only by the Federal Reserve system.

So the upshot of all this is that the bankers get what they want, are allowed to carry on as they were, while at the same time the fractional reserve banking system and the federal government are both greatly expanded and empowered, and the compliant corporate media ludicrously tells us that a strict crackdown is underway.

This kind of activity is exactly what some leading representatives have warned of in recent weeks.

A fortnight ago, the Democratic Chairman of the Agriculture Committee, Collin Peterson, announced to the press that “The banks run the place,” in reference to the US Congress.

While Peterson is also pushing for legislation to regulate derivatives trading, his proposed bill would limit derivatives trading to public exchanges, rather than private clearinghouses, which are managed by banks.

Peterson’s warning mirrors that of Democratic Senator Dick Durbin, who just a few weeks before uttered the same rarely acknowledged truth.

“And the banks — hard to believe in a time when we’re facing a banking crisis that many of the banks created — are still the most powerful lobby on Capitol Hill. And they frankly own the place,” Durbin said.

How simultaneously dangerous and ridiculous it is that the Federal Reserve is given more authority to oversee the economy. This is the same privately run entity that refused to comply with congressional demands for transparency and disclose the destination of trillions dollars in bailout funds. It is the same privately owned entity that has withheld internal memos, in spite of freedom of information act requests. It is the same private entity, run for the most part by European banking elites, that has arrogantly refused to tell Senators and Congressmen which banks were in receipt of government loans.

The government is ready to hand over everything to a monolithic private corporation and a gaggle of bastard banker offspring, that have gobbled up an amount close to the entire GDP of the country in taxpayers’ money and figuratively stuck the middle finger up regarding questions over where that money has gone.

It can be no more apparent than at this time that legislation to audit, repeal and eventually end the Federal Reserve, must be supported by Americans if they want to see their children and their grandchildren grow up without indentured debt and entrenched servitude to a fascistic marriage of private banks and hugely inflated government.

Shooting a dead horse

I don't want to keep harping on this but the shootings just keep on happening. It seems like every day someone else gets shot. Now on the news they are talking about a woman who believed that "God turned her into the Anti-Christ". This led her to shoot her son, then herself, but not before calling home and telling her husband what she had done to their child. CNN even went so far as to show the video footage from the shooting range of then, her son in the front firing off some rounds, while the mother raises her gun to the back of his head. Of course, that's where they cut off the video, but I mean, come on! Are the so desperate for ratings that they would sensationalize the last few seconds of this young man's life? Based on what little I've seen so far, it sounds like we have yet another case of a person on anti-psychotic drugs who most likely was recently taken off of them recently, causing a psychotic break, it's been the case in nine out of ten of these shootings.

It seems to me, that before we start talking about better gun control, we should start discussing better pharmaceutical control. The problem that we're having right now, with people going ape shit and killing everyone around them, isn't going to be quelled by better gun control. The people perpetrating these atrocities are nothing but spoiled brats who decide one day that they've had enough, pitch a fit, and start hurting anyone around them. It's true, that when you have yourself a temper tantrum, if you happen to have a gun at your disposal, you're going to do a lot more damage than if you didn't. Now consider, what if none of these people had anti-psychotic drugs at their disposal? What if they only had something like, oh, I don't know, marijuana, could the temper tantrum (the psychotic break) been avoided altogether? I say, probably so.

Binghamton Shooter

The news is on right now that a shooter entered an American Civic center building in Binghamton, NY and started shooting people. So far CNN is reporting that 4 people are dead and 12 people have been injured. Jason Bermas on Infowars spoke with a police officer friend of his and is reporting that up to 40 people are being held hostage. Time will tell what the final count is, but even one is too many. This is all ongoing, and very few details have been released, but if the last few weeks are any indication of what's to come, it sounds very likely that this is a repeat of what has happened before. As with Alabama and Germany, we will likely find out that the shooter was on anti-psychotic drugs, that he was recently taken off of them, and that he had a psychotic break as a result of being taken off of these drugs. The military will once again be sent in to "maintain the peace" as they did in Alabama, a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. Finally, they will use this tragedy as an excuse to rally for tighter and more restrictive gun regulations. Another engineered tragedy following the formula of Action- Reaction- Solution.

More to come as more details are released. My prayers go out to the families of the victims.

'Tis the season for Shooting Sprees?

I'm not sure what's going on these last few weeks, maybe it's global depression, who knows, but it looks like there are a lot of people out there doing a lot of shooting. These articles are all in the last week.

Cleveland, Ohio

Birmingham, Alabama

Berlin, Germany

Shreveport, Louisiana

Richmond, California

Troy, Illinois

Northern Ireland

And these are just a few of the many in the last week. Can anyone explain this to me?

** Updated 3/12 **

I heard a theory on the radio yesterday, that these are all mind controlled MK Ultra Assassins. That fish is a week old, and I'm not buying it. I do believe, however, that our government will use this as an excuse to take stronger measures toward tighter gun control. I just saw this morning that after the Alabama shootings, the US Army put soldiers on the streets. You can check that out HERE. I do find it interesting also that this fact has been conveniently overlooked by the mainstream media, but reported internationally. A clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.

Home Improvement

This week has been home improvement week for me. Sunday I spent all day working on my pond, installing lighting to surround that area, and put in a submersible green light to add a little ambiance. I also put our Lotus back in, which has been sitting in our garage in a plastic trash bag since it started getting cold in November. I'm really hoping that it blooms this year, we really didn't see anything out of it last year, which was disappointing for a $40 plant.

Last night I worked on our master bathroom. When we bought our house 2 years ago, the first thing we did was replace this god awful pink carpet that ran through the entire house, including the master bath. Our plan was to tile that bathroom at some point, so in the mean time, we cut an extra piece of the new carpet and put it in there. Two years later, we finally have the means to put the tile in. Thank you tax return! So I spent a couple of hours breaking apart a small area of old tile in front of the shower, and pulled the toilet. I love pulling toilets. The nasty old wax ring is my favorite part. There's always something that will go wrong when you start playing around with 20 year old plumbing, too. Of course the water line broke, so after the tile is finished, I get to shut off the water to the house, replace the water line, the wax ring, paint, and re-attach the toilet to the ground. I'd say that this will help our home value, but that's not looking real promising, no matter what we do to it.

Once I died

I don't know why, but the last few days I have been thinking about writing this blog. I tell myself that it's not something that I need to write, but then I come right back to thinking about writing it again. Maybe something is supposed to come out of this, who knows, so here goes.

I died when I was 3. I had no memory of this happening for most of my life, at least no memories that I could explain, but then a few years ago my mother told me that it happened. My mother had left me with my aunt to watch while she was out running errands. Apparently, I was outside for a few minutes, just long enough to fall into the pool and drown. I don't know how long it was, I guess no one really does, but it couldn't have been more than just a few minutes. My aunt was visiting with a friend of hers inside the house, when they realize that I was out of their line of site. They came outside and saw me floating there face down in the pool, and I would imagine that they pulled me out as quickly as possible. I guess it was my lucky day, because the friend of my aunt's was a nurse and she was able to resuscitate me in time before there was any brain damage. (As far as I can tell, anyway.)

When I say that I had no memories of this event, I mean that I had none until I heard this story. Once I did, it was as if my imagination combined with potential memories, and it was as if I could see all of this happening to me. I can see the two ladies panicked, running outside, pulling me out of the water I can see this other woman resuscitating me, all from about 10 feet in the air, then nothing. It's as if the only memories I can recall from that day are during the time I had my face in the water. Who knows, it could be just my imagination.

So, for obvious reasons, all of this makes me think of spirituality. I've always thought that I had more unanswered questions than I've had answers in this department. Growing up in a Catholic household, going to catechism classes every week for 10 years, I always felt like everyone around me was so sure in their beliefs. Growing up, I often felt somewhat inadequate spiritually because I had so much doubt in what I was being taught to believe. Catholic school teachers don't like being questioned, and though I didn't have a nun to slap me with a ruler, Catholic guilt can be just as effective as a form of punishment.

When I left home for college I started an age of real spiritual exploration. I started dating girls that were of different religion; Jewish, Baptist, Mormon, Church of Christ, and others. I learned what I could about them, and I would attend services. One of the most bizarre experiences was being in a service for one protestant religion or another, and hearing them talking shit about the Catholics. I'm not just talking about hanging out after service and hearing people talking shit. I'm talking about a deacon or minister, on the pulpit, preaching to his congregation about how bad the Catholics were. So much for loving your brother.

I then started reading what I could about "alternative" religions. I researched Wiccan and Liman witchcraft. I studied Alistair Crowley and I read up on the Kabbalah. I studied the Druids, astrology, the Greek and Romans Gods, and more recently, I've read up on Zachariah Sitchin and the ancient Sumerian texts. Running out of global religions to study, I learned also that there is a galactic, or universal outlook on spirituality, and that there are many people who claim to channel the spirits of our ancestors, or even alien beings from high above the earth who purport to be the very angels and prophets that are written about in so many of our Holy Books.

One of these channeled beings is Ra, that's right, the old Egyptian god, Ra. In his channelings, he speaks of the Law of One. A universal law that we are all one, that what I do to you, I do to myself, and that we are all connected on the quantum level. If you've heard of the book made movie, "The Secret" and the Law of Attraction, then you've heard of the Law of One. Most metaphysical theories now, much of what we are discovering about the nature of quantum physics, sound, and sacred geometry can find it's roots in the Law of One.

In everything I've learned, by keeping my soul and mind open to any possibility, I have learned that no matter what you believe, no matter what religion you subscribe to, if you tear away the dogma and the fear behind any belief system, there is one universal truth. Love one another. Jesus, Buda, Mohammed, a trinity of witches, or even space aliens, they all send the same message. Love one another. Be the example that I have set.

I believe now that I have a very good grasp of the true meaning of spirituality. It's tied into the reason that we are here, why we have chosen to take on this life in this body. It's all just One thing: To be given the opportunity to experience and deliver love. Just imagine the world we could be living in free of religious conflict, free from greed and the self serving results of fear. If this country is indeed on the brink of economic collapse, if the world is undergoing a change leading up to 2012, I hope that we can all put aside everything else, and just do one thing: love!

Alex Jones is making me crazy.

Alex Jones is making me crazy. Why is it that every time I listen to his show or go onto his website, I'm punched in the face with commercials and banners for survival and apocalyptic riot gear. Talk about advertisers targeting their demographic. Did you know that there's such a thing as an Atmospheric Water Generator?

All of that aside, he makes a lot of really good points, but his presentation is so harsh that I think many people just shut out the message. People don't like to be yelled at, and the messenger doesn't always need a blow horn.

Life, it is a changing. . .

I'm in week six since starting at Sherlock's, and my life has completely changed. No longer am I fielding calls from angry, frustrated customers, half of which can't tell a power button from a hole in their head. Now, I am the day manager for one of the highest grossing pub/restaurants in the city.

My job is pretty cut and dry. I set up the show, I'm like the back stage crew. I enter all of the numbers, code invoices, choose trivia questions, and see who's winning the fantasy football league. I make sure that the ship is running well, and everything that needs to be, is in line. We open at 11am and start serving lunch, which is generally pretty slow. I walk around, greet people at their tables, and make sure the beer is nice and cold. The major difference is the customers. Instead of dealing with people who are already pissed off when they called me, I'm dealing with people who generally, are just looking for a good time, something good to eat and cold to drink.

Gone are the mundane hours of variances and two and a half hour long calls, logging every few words into the big database. Now, I have about five to ten different things to do on any given day, which are rarely the same on any two days, and one of my very best friends is also my boss. There are about five people that I met right off the bat right after moving back to Austin in 1999, Ron being one of them.

It was about nine weeks ago that my manager at Apple pulled me aside to let me know that my customer satisfaction scores had been slipping. He asked what else I would like to be doing within the company, so I told him, the same position I had been applying for the last 3 years, management. He asked me to give him another six months to try and work something out for me. The very next day, Ron called and asked me if I would like to be his new day manager. I interviewed with the outgoing general manager, with the area director, and finally the vice president of the company, and got the job.

On my last day at Apple, my manager made the comment that he had walked many people out of the building on their last day, most of them kicking and screaming. He had never walked anyone out with the huge shit eating grin that I had on my face. Never had he seen anyone so happy to be walked out of the building.

Anyway, in other news, due to the fact that I'm not staring at a computer screen for nine hours a day, my bulletin, blog and Youtube video sharing is WAY down, and will likely remain so. I have found that it's been a lot better for my mental health as well, to be relatively cut off from all of the conspiracy that's found here on the inter-tubes. I still get to browse the titles of many other videos that my friends here on Myspace and Youtube post, but I rarely watch more than one every few days. It's all begun to repeat itself anyway, it's like it's all on a loop, and every few months the same videos resurface as "breaking news" and "must see". I've seen them all, I've taken in as much as I can handle.

So, outside of work and personal computing, there is the rest of life. I went camping in Tanglewood again this last weekend with James, Katy, and the rest of the Tanglewood crew. Here were the entries for this year's pumpkin carving contest:

And the the winner, with bragging rights until next year: James!

The weekend before that I went fishing in Canyon lake with Rick and his Dad:
Sunset on Canyon Lake

And the rest of the time, Rachel and I have been working on our new, and very first, vegetable garden. I've got pretty much everything you can imagine in there: tomatoes, greens, squash, broccoli, cabbage, onions, you name it.
My garden

It's been pretty fulfilling, and extremely relaxing. We're even starting from seedlings and transplanting into the main garden box. The only real problem has been these little guys:
Squirrel chillin

I've built one screened box to keep them out, but it's taking longer that I expected to build these things, so every afternoon when I get home, I curse them and get back to work. They even crawl under the one I have to get at the roots.

Jambalaya Recipee

I make my Jambalaya partly on the stove, then finish it in the oven. Since I'm using Chicken and Shrimp I want my stock to have those flavors, real simple. I heat up the right amount of Chicken Stock and add some raw Shrimp shells to it and simmer for about 15-20 minutes! It gives it a quick little infusion. I do the same thing when making a Cassoulet, except with Lamb bones, if I'm using Lamb. The Jambalaya Recipe:

New Orleans Cuisine Recipe - Shrimp and Chicken Jambalaya

Seasoning Mix (1/4 tsp Cayenne, 3/4 tsp White Pepper, 1 tsp Kosher Salt, 1/4 tsp Thyme, 1/2 tsp Rubbed Sage, 1/4 tsp Dried Basil, 1/2 tsp Black Pepper)

1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

1/2 Cup Diced Andouille

1/2 Cup Diced Onion

1/2 Cup Diced Bell Pepper

1/2 Cup Diced Celery

1/2 Cup Diced Fresh Tomatoes

1/2 Cup Tomato Sauce

3/4 Cup Enriched Long Grain Rice

1 1/4 Cup Chicken Stock with a Shrimp shell infusion (see above)

1 Tbsp Homemade Worcestershire Sauce

2 Tbsp Minced Fresh Garlic

1/2 Cup Diced Chicken (Cooked or raw)

1 1/2 Cup Medium Shrimp (I use Louisiana)

1 Tbsp Finely Chopped Italian Parsley

3 Tbsp Finely Sliced Green Onions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix together the Holy Trinity (Onion, Celery, Bell Pepper).

In a Cast Iron Dutch Oven, melt the butter over medium heat, add the Andouille and cook until it just starts to brown. Add 1/2 of the Holy Trinity, cook until the vegetables are tender (nothing smells better than rendering Andouille with the Holy Trinity). Add the diced Tomatoes and cook for 1 minute. Add the Tomato Sauce and cook for another minute. Add the Rice and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the Stock, the remaining Holy Trinity, Seasoning Mix, Worcestershire, and the Garlic. Taste the broth for seasoning, particularly salt. Add the Chicken, stir well and put the pot in the preheated oven. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes. After the twenty-five minutes stir in the raw Shrimp, Parsley, and Green Onions, place back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the Shrimp are cooked through. Serve with French Bread and your favorite Beer.

So, last week was a good one. I was picked by my manager at Apple to go to San Francisco for the World Wide Developers Conference to represent the iPhone Beta support team. Unless you’ve been living in a cave or just don’t care about such things, Steve Jobs announced last Monday that we will be releasing a new iPhone, the iPhone 3G, which is faster over cellular networks has yadda, more yadda, and better yadda yadda.

Anyway, I spent my time at the conference, then had plenty of extra time to spend with Camille, Jon, and Alycee. We had dinner almost every night, Jon cooked some homemade ravioli and halibut one night which was delicious!

We spent a few hours hiking in the mountains one day, and an afternoon at the beach another. While we were at the beach, a seal waddled right up to where we were!

Overall, the trip was great, and I really needed a trip out of town since Dad died. It’s really strange what’s been happening to me lately. Everyone knows that I’ve always been into UFO’s and aliens and things like that, especially in the last few years. What has happened though, is that my research into the topic has lead me to modern day theoretical speakers like Michael Tsarion, David Wilcock, and Davis Icke. Many of the ideas and theories that they talk about are far beyond modern day Christian beliefs, but like all religions mirror each other, so do these modern prophets. I have delved deep into these theories, and have found myself more awake, more alive, and more knowledgeable than ever before in my life. Meditation and love have helped me to deal with the repercussions of my father’s death in a way that I never could have been prepared for.

Dad taught me to meditate for the first time when I was just a young boy, no more than 10 or so, and I remember thinking that my Dad was like Yoda, and I was Luke, learning the ways of the force. I meditated only a handful of time since then, but started learning more about different meditation techniques, Chakras, and psi powers about 2 months before he was killed. I started to realize the powers of thought, learned “The Secret”, and the nature of matter as energy. Then suddenly, Dad was killed, and I knew what had happened before my mother even told me that it had. Of all the souls I have ever come across in my life, Dad had the strongest, and I have no doubt that he lives on and continues to teach me even now. I haven’t seen his ghost, but I have felt his influence.

I definitely feel wiser today than I ever have, but at the same time, recognize that I know nothing. I feel connected to the energy of the universe, to life, in a way that I never have before, and words like Lightworker, and Starseed invoke strong feelings in my core. While in some respects I feel withdrawn, and now separated from the rest of the world, I now feel more than ever that it will soon be my responsibility to lead people into a better way of living. In that, I feel connected in a totally different way to many people I’ve never even met. I have spoken of great changes to come in the past, and now is the time. The next month will reveal a great many things to you, so keep your hearts and minds open to the miracles that will be in front of you.

Time Travel

The dream started out hearing of my Aunt's death, who is very much alive. My immediate family and I went to my Uncle's house for the funeral, but it was a huge complex. They live in Alabama, and I've never actually been there, but in my dream it was a huge place with it's own parking garage built into the side of a gigantic river valley. If you stood at the top of the valley it was probably 2 miles to the other side, with a wide river running through at the bottom a good mile down.

I remember walking through the interior of the complex, through parking garages, up and down stairs, and visiting with family members. It was a lot like my Dad's wake, uncomfortable, and a lot of milling around. At one point one of my Uncle's encouraged my brother, my mom, and I to go outside to watch an air show. We climbed a few levels of the parking garage, up two flights of stairs and out a stadium style entrance near the top of the valley. There were hundreds of people scattered about, and I emerged just in time to see a wake boarder dropped out of an airplane into the river below.

My mom gasped, thinking that he was surely dead, but I assured her that he probably did that sort of thing all the time. We made out way over to cement stairs and the grade of the hill was incredibly steep, almost vertical. I struggled to keep my footing, holding on to the handrail coming from the stairs. I told my brother to go ahead in front of me and as he did, he feet slipped out from underneath and he hit his head on one of the steps. The grade was so steep that his foot caught a crevasse and flipped him head over feet. He landed limp on his face and slid hundreds of feet down the hill. I tried chasing him, yelling the whole time, "Please someone catch him!" but no one saw and no one stopped him.

I woke up at 5am this morning to a strobe light in my window. Lightning flashing over and over again. I closed by eyes and saw my brother falling, I opened them and was blinded by continuous lightning. It was almost 2 hours before I was able to fall asleep again.

Then I was back at my parent's house and we had just finished installing a hot tub in the back of their property. My dad and my brothers were all there, and I got really excited that I would be able to ask my Dad some of the questions I never got to ask. I went up to him, but before I opened my mouth he said, "It doesn't matter." I knew it was 2005 and I asked him why we were here. He said this is when it happened, that reality split on this day, and since then, there was nothing we could do to change it. Things were as they should be. He told me that I should always go first so that I will be there to catch my brothers when they fall. You can't support someone if you're above them, you have to be beneath them.

And then I woke up for the second time. The lightning had been outshone by the sun, but it was still raining.

SUV/18-wheeler wreck kills Bastrop County man

Last Update: 4/23/2008 9:46 am

Northbound lanes of SH-130 are open after a Wednesday morning fatal collision between a SUV and tractor-trailer rig.

A DPS dispatcher says it happened about a mile north of the Chandler Road overpass moments before 5 a.m. Investigators say a SUV struck the rear of a slower moving tractor-trailer rig.

DPS troopers say the semi-truck was traveling below the posted speed limit at the time it was hit. The force of the impact shoved the front of the Chevrolet Suburban's front into the passengers' compartment, practically telescoping the vehicle.

The driver of the SUV, identified as 59-year-old Alcee Gonzague Mouton of Cedar Creek, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler, Joe Sandoval, 39, of Kingwood, was taken to Seton Medical Center in Georgetown for observation.

Traffic investigators are trying to determine why the big truck was moving slowly in the travel lanes of SH-130.

The northbound lanes of SH-130 were closed for several hours Wednesday morning as traffic investigators sorted through the scattered debris.
